Axillary dermatitis – There are several types of dermatitis that can affect the area within the armpit, including contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis, the latter case being instances of dermatitis for which the cause cannot be determined. Of these, contact dermatitis is the most frequent and tends to be caused by the skin coming into contact with an irritant. In some cases however, soap or a deodorant may contain an allergen and it is the allergen rather than a chemical reaction that causes a problem. Both allergic reaction triggers and irritants that can damage one’s skin can cause a rash, and it can sometimes be difficult to tell the two types of rashes apart. Usually, if the rash appears suddenly, it is due to contact dermatitis. In cases of allergic dermatitis, it may take a day or more for a rash to appear. Allergic dermatitis tends to cause itching under the armpits, while contact dermatitis is often more painful than it is itchy.
A case in Erie Pennsylvania concerning the exposure of breasts and nipple proceeded all the way to the Supreme Court in the US. The Erie ordinance was regulating the nipple in public as an act that is committed when a person “'. . knowingly or intentionally, . . appears in a state of nudity commits Public Indecency.'” Later in the statute, nudity is further described as an uncovered female nipple. But nipple exposure of a man was not commentator expressed this opinion on the statute by noting: "Ponder the significance of that. A man walks around bare-chested and the worst that happens is he won’t get served in restaurants. But a woman who goes topless is legally in the same boat as if she’d had sex in public. That may seem crazy, but in the . it’s a permissible law. — Cecil Adams"
My itching started 10 days after giving birth to my son. my obgyn said it was not Pupp because “Pupp only occurs during prgnancy.” So I went to my family doctor and he said he had treated 3 cases of Pupp after delivery and he was sure what I had was Pupp. He prescribed prednisone for 7 days and the itch went away after day two. However 3 days after i finioshed the dosage, the itch came back. Its been two weeks since then and I am still itching. Hot compresses before bed seem to give me enough relief for me to fall asleep.
