My boyfriend has taken all kinds of steroids for the past few years and he has been off them now for around 4 months. He has completely lost interest in sex and cannot obtain a hard on. he feels terrible about this and finds it hard to talk to me. he says he feels useless to me. He thinks if he goes back on steroids he will be alright but it hink that is just prolonging the situationa dn the same will ahppen when he comes off them again. Also, i find him to be over emotional and paranoid on them so i would rather he didnt do them.
Does any oen have any suggestions as to what he can do to increase his sex drive?
Help I have a friend who is a gym goer Im not sure of his quantity or how long he has been taking steroids, but stopped recently because he had really bad neck pain. No dr or scan, ultrasound etc showed anything. Put on huge pain killer amounts didnt help alot but felt after about six weeks some relief. Until today when he thinks a prior knee issue has flared up. If this a result of steroid abuse how long before it heals? Im pretty sure he wont touch them again. He can handle all over aches and pains but these last two injuries have had him off work.
I do not condone steroid use by teenagers. At the same time, I think it has been wildly exaggerated as to how many high-school students are into steroids. I have seen statistics as low as 3% and as high as 20%. That’s a pretty big range, which makes it tough to believe we even have anything like an accurate idea of what the percentage really is. But that’s not really important. If I was a parent, and I do happen to have a son and a daughter myself, I would be far more concerned with Junior drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, taking Ecstasy, or snorting cocaine. I watch the news and read the papers, and I never seem to read about fatal car accidents or drug overdoses involving teenagers and steroids. Nobody is slipping a couple tablets of Winstrol into a 16-year-old girl’s drink and committing a date rape. Teens have no business using steroids, but as far as being a threat, there are about a hundred other drugs far worse to worry about. Any time you hear differently you can be sure it’s a slow news day down at Channel Five.
